Sea Turtle Conservation
Sea turtles provide numerous benefits to the ocean’s ecosystem since its existence. For more than 100 million years, sea turtles have been maintaining healthy seagrass beds and managing the jellyfish population they use as prey. They also are an important food source for other ocean and seashore animals such as gulls and vultures. Manatee Eco-Friendly acknowledges the important role of sea turtles and supports sustainable sea turtles initiatives and conservation efforts.
Tree Planting
Trees offer many well known benefits such as absorbing carbon dioxide from the air, releasing oxygen to breathe, and reducing the heat in the city’s urban areas. Understanding these benefits, Manatee Eco-Friendly sees the importance of managing and sustaining ample tree population by participating and supporting tree planting initiatives and programs. Planting a tree is a symbolic act of helping the planet with a real impact. If you cannot plant the tree in your backyard, do it through an organization like Treedom, The Trees Remember, The National Forest, or search a local one.
